Q&A with Lauren!
What is your favorite book to read?
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Not only is it a great book but my husband read this book to me before we started officially dating. I’ve read it multiple times since then.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
I love creating a cohesive mood board with colors, shapes, textures and finishes. I could work on these for hours at a time creating the perfect vision for my client’s space.
What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play?
Soccer! I grew up playing soccer, was an all-state athlete in high school, and broke my leg playing in the conference finals in college (we won!). In 2016, I checked off a bucket list item when we went to see a Premier league game in London.
If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?
Cleaning the house, obviously.
Have you ever met someone famous?
Not really.. But when my best friend and I spent a summer in New York City many years ago, I quite literally almost ran into P. Diddy on the street. My best friend grabbed my arm to get my attention. I was on the phone and had no idea!
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I would eat Thanksgiving dinner every single day.
Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
I drink a cup of Irish Breakfast Tea every morning with milk and honey. I even take it on vacations with me so I know I can have the perfect cup of tea while I’m away from home.
